Auto injury and shear injury (diffuse axonal injury) sustained to posterior body of the corpus callosum.

Partially disrupted on CT scan. Restricted diffusion on diffusion maps and ADC's. Caliber change of corpus callosum noted on sagittal T1 sequence.

Subdural posteriorly on left.

Common shear injury sites are frontal gray-white junction, projection tracts of internal capsule, CC, and brainstem.
