There is a persistent falcine sinus which is an embryologic dural sinus that recedes when the straight sinus forms.
This vascular variant is present with an additional midline anomaly of a partially hypoplastic corpus callosum. The persistent falcine sinus is most commonly associated with a Vein of Galen aneurysm.
