Tender and swollen left submandibular gland. Left gland enlarged on CT scan, but clacified stone seen on right.

Non-calcified stone noted at orifice of left Wharton's duct on clinical exam.

Wharton's duct stones are found at orifice, at mylohoid level and at junction of gland and duct.

Sialolithiasis is one of the most common salivary gland abnormalities in adults.

80% of stones occur in Wharton's duct, because of pH.
