Incidental bilateral carotid bifurcation paragangliomas detected incidentally by a neck CT angio.

They originate from Chromaffin cells and 10% of cases are familial.

They may be multiple and there are occasional reports of metastatic disease.

They may be bilateral in 10% of cases.

Carotid paragangliomas are the most common location followed by jugular bulb.
